Nausea Success Stories
While going through severe morning sickness I decided to give acupuncture a try. Shasta is helping tremendously and I feel a large reduction in symptoms. She is professional, very reasonably priced, and knows her stuff. I will definitely recommend Shasta to anyone I know seeking alternative treatments.
Shasta Tierra and Way of Wellness are awesome! I have been a patient of Shasta’s at Way of Wellness since 6/2008. I was referred to her by a friend then and have never left her since. My original 1st ever acupuncture treatment was for relief of symptoms from Cancer treatment, and I have continued going to keep my body in balance overall. As of 1/2011 our insurance has changed certain coverage and providers, but I chose to stay on with Shasta at Way of Wellness. We worked out a great deal, not much more than my original co-pay, and I continue to come to her even more than the traditional medical doctor’s The treatment I receive from her is like no other. She is an inspiration and a provider that really cares for her patients.
“It was my first pregnancy and I had severe nausea. I threw up all the time. My doctors were worried because instead of gaining weight I had lost 15 pounds. I came to Shasta for acupuncture once a week throughout my entire pregnancy because it really helped with my nausea. I consequently gained all my weight back, and maintained normal pregnancy weight. I had a beautiful healthy little girl! Shasta was wonderful. The acupuncture really worked. It was worth it. It didn’t hurt. It was the best thing that probably ever happened to me”
I began seeing Shasta in June 2008 for help with nausea from chemo. I soon began to also get relief from the stress I was feeling from the cancer diagnosis. I continued treatment thru August 2008. In September 2008 I one again had Shasta treat me. The treatment now was for the discomfort from surgery, gas, stress and my immune system. I then had a second surgery at the end of October 2008. Shasta once again helped me with the pain from the surgery, my immune system, and my GERD (acid reflux). I have not had to take my prescription Prevacid as I was. With Shasta’s help, in the last 4 months I have only had to take my prescription Prevacid approximately 4 or 5 times. This is a huge relief for me. Shasta has made a potential disaster into a very small obstacle for me to encounter. With her treatment, encouragement and overall help I am in a way better place now than I was last May 2008 after my diagnosis and prognosis. Thank you Shasta.
